He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Bryan, Jr. and Thelma Wynn Bryan; his sister Lucy Moseley-Bell; his brother-in-law Charles Fisher, Sr.; and his adoptive parent Rohit (Chayya Shah).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bryan; his children, Christopher Bryan of Texas, Frederick Bryan (Karen), Marilyn Bryan Davis (Greg), Bridgette Bryan of New Bern, Jewel Michele Hayes and Demetria Antionette Clarkson of Raleigh; his sisters, Donna K. Bryan Fisher and Kathleen Bryan Grate of New Bern; his grandchildren, Christopher, Michael Bryan, Gregory Jr., Ava Davis, Dontay Shephard and Jasmine Nunn; his great grandchild Olivia Shephard; his nephews, Charles Fisher, Jr. (Tracy), Jason Fisher (Heather Carlson) and Taylor Bryan (Katia Barber); his siblings-in-law, Allen Wright (Delores) of Raleigh, Vasco Wright (Judy) of Virginia, Vason Wright of Raleigh and Marie Wright of Raleigh; and his children, Pooja and Sohil. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christian Faith Baptist Church (509 Hilltop Dr, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
