He is survived by: his parents, Geoffrey C. Knudson and Kay E. Wardensky Knudson; his wife Tracy Knudson; and his children, Matthew C. Knudson (Sarah Kathryn), Daniel G. Knudson and Marissa G. Knudson.

A Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke the Evangelist Church (12333 Bayleaf Church Rd, Raleigh, NC 27614).
