He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Burgess Cook and John Daniel Cook of Boone, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Fairley Bell Cook; his sons, Benjamin Daniel Cook (Hannah Streetman-Cook) of Charlotte, NC and John Caleb Cook (Katie Schmitz) of Raleigh, NC.; his granddaughter Reynolds Kacie Cook of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Allison Hodges (John) of Boone, NC and Jan Cook Deckert (Jeff) of Raleigh, NC.; and his brothers-in-law, Victor E. Bell III (Mary Grady) of Raleigh, NC. and McNair Bell (Laura) of Raleigh, NC.. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, great nieces and special cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church (7506 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615).
