He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Hugh Patrick Hughes; his wife Victoria Wayne Tudor of Raleigh; his daughters, Taylor Lynn Hughes and Kayleigh Elizabeth Hughes of Defuniak Springs; his grandchild Hudson James Callahan; his mother Francoise Elizabeth Hughes of Wilkesboro; his sisters, Diana Lynn Hughes Cecil of Millers Creek and Shannon Lee Hughes (Kimberly Lewis Hughes) of Durham; his nephew Joshua Ryan Cecil; and his niece Lauren Ashley Simmons.
