We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2024, at the age of 72, Chester Cornelius Sutton Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Chester farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Chester is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Cherie Sutton; his son Kyle Sutton (Heather) of Holly Springs; his siblings, Gwendolyn Sutton, Karen Bailey, Renee Sutton, Verona Sutton-Dunn and Fred Sutton; and his grandchild Russell Sutton. He is also survived by other relatives & friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
