Cathy Wheeler left this world on December 3, 2024 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Caswell Ellis Wheeler and Margaret Westbrook Wheeler; and her sister Sue Pollard (Gregg). She is survived by: her husband Reverend J. Michael "Mike" Carter; her daughters, Caron Carter Hodges (Nicholas) and Allison Carter Taft (Shaun); her siblings, Marguerite Nelson, Pat Danieley (Dan) and Caswell Ellis Wheeler, Jr. (Teresa); and her grandchildren, Carter Hodges, Tyler, Lyla and Olivia Taft.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Creedmoor Road Baptist Church (6001 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh, NC 27612). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
