She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Gaetano and Mary Gaetano (Scalise). She is survived by: her husband Dean C. Kirk; her children, Deborah DiPierro (Michael DiPierro), Stephen Kirk, Sharon (Bill Carroll) and Brian Kirk; and her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew DiPierro, Joshua Kirk, Morgan, Madison Kirk, Olivia and Aliza Carroll. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613).
