Carl Lee Bumgardner Jr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Lee Bumgardner Jr. (Raleigh, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bumgardner and Margaret Bumgardner; his wife Ann Adams Bumgardner; his son Nathan Kurt Bumgardner; and his sisters, Edna Bumgardner Lewis, Hazel Bumgardner Stuart, Myrtle Beatrice Bumgardner and Regis Bumgardner Breeland.

He is survived by: his sons, Carl L. Bumgardner III (Tammie), Erich A. Bumgardner, Joel D. Bumgardner (Michael) and Malcolm B. Bumgardner (Chrissie); his grandchildren, Rachel Keith (Willie), Christopher Bumgardner, Sarah Snotherly (Josh), Heather Gordon (Nathan), Emily Bumgardner, Rhen Bumgardner and Alex Bumgardner; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Bumgardner, John Michael Gordon, Sawyer Keith, Violet Keith, Cora Snotherly, Mary Elizabeth Gordon, Mabel Snotherly and Matthew Bumgardner. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ridge Road Baptist Church (2011 Ridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607).
