She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Pleasant and Eunice Pleasant; her husband Paul Mitchell; her siblings, Jim Pleasant, Dan Pleasant, Joe Pleasant, Betty Beasley and Jan Gainey; and her son William Paul Mitchell (Bill).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, William Paul "Billy" Mitchell, Jr. of Raleigh and Cameron Mitchell Tatone (Lance) of Hendersonville; and her great grandchildren, Brittany Mitchell, Samantha Tincher, Stephen Tatone, Robbie Tatone and Mike Tatone. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
