He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oliver Gause and Beulah Ward Gause; his siblings, Betty Davis, Eva Garrett and Clifford Gause; and his nephew Ray Riggs.
He is survived by: his sister Shirley Capps; and his nieces and nephews, Barbara Jones, Julie Lane, Lynn Barnhill, Candy Payne, Marie Poling, Brenda Bradley, Jeff Davis, Ronnie Gause, Gene Gause, Larry Gause, Joe Payne and Gayle Payne. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
