She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Hayes and Mary Hayes; and her brother Joseph Hayes. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Pearson and Dena Haugley; and her son-in-law Jerry Haugley. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; and seven siblings.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (221 Union St, Cary, NC 27511). A reception will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Mills Farm (1000 Mills Chase Loop, Apex, NC 27523). She was a gifted seamstress and used that gift to give to others like providing a square for the AIDS Memorial Quilt and handmade masks during Covid.
