It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Schlee Lisk of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Laurens, New York, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilma Kay (Bates) and Robert Hudson Waters Schlee; her siblings, Richard, Robert and Elizabeth Schlee; her sister-in-law Doris I. Schlee; her daughter Grace Pooley Lisk; and her grandson Johnathan Eugene Pooley.
She is survived by: her husband John; her daughters, Juli Hepner (David) and Melissa Lisk; her grandchildren, Rachel Vaughan, Nicholas, Meghan, William, Michael Hepner, Jordan and Jason Axline; and her sister-in-law Imogene Schlee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to a place dear to Barbara's heart- The SPCA of Wake County.
