She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Hammond Russell; and her husband Edwin Scott Thomas, Sr.. She is survived by: her sister Judy McKague of Asheboro; her children, Beth Tripp (Raymond), Susan Worley (Brian) and Scott Thomas Jr. (Jenny); her grandchildren, Noah Tripp (Maggie), Anna Tripp, Rebekah Worley Mason (Rob), Hannah Worley and Katie Worley Roebuck (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Lila Roebuck, Graham Roebuck, Abigail Mason and Lennon Tripp.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Providence Church (6339 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
