He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Monroe Bailey and Sophia Curtis Bailey; and his sisters, Linda Choplin and Judy Troutman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Whippo Bailey; his children, Christy Bott (Chris) of Chincoteague Island, Virginia, Matthew Bailey (Christy Ann) of Eden and Jonathan Bailey (Julie) of Richmond, Virginia; his grandchildren, Parker Bott (Maggie) of Alexandria, William Bott (Ann-Windsor), Nathan Bott and Ellison Bailey; and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Choplin, Kenneth Troutman (Melissa), Judy Lohrman (Tony) and Katherine Troutman (Terry).
