Al Thompson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Al Thompson (Raleigh, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Al shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Al farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Zola Thompson of Raleigh, NC; his children, Anthony Thompson of Wake Forest, NC, Virginia Rowe of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Delores Tabron of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings, Luna Mae and Billy James Banks. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
