We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2020, at the age of 80, Thelton Guess of Raeford, North Carolina, born in Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Carrie Guess McGee; his former wife Shirley Mae Duncan Guess; his wife Josephine Guess; his children, Debbie D. Thomas, Crysanthia E. Guess and Thelton Guess, Jr.; his brothers, Kenneth McGee, Herman McGee, Troy McGee and Joey McGee; and his granddaughter Felitia Gillesipie Steele-Turner.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Guess of Winston-Salem, Toni Guess of Winston-Salem, Sherian Gillespie (Elaine) of Winston-Salem, Sharon Nowlin of Winston-Salem and Nathan Fleming, Sr. (Adrienne) of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, Thomas Wright, Sr., Veronica McGee of Winston-Salem, NC, Birdie Jackson (Jimmie) of Winston-Salem, NC, Angela Wright of Winston-Salem, NC and Grace Wright (Pam) of Winston-Salem, NC; his friend Annie Stapleton Frazier; and also Patsy Veronica Johnson of Raeford, NC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.
