He is survived by: his wife Sara Moses Ellis (Cissy) of Raeford, NC; his children, Alice Megan Ellis of Anchorage, AK, Robert Christian Ellis of Lexington, KY and Austin Michael Wood of Charlotte, NC; and his grandson McKennon Michael Wood of Charlotte, NC.
