As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Dockery Singletary; his children, Queena "Neicy" Singletary Green (George) and Robert Louis Singletary Jr. (Latonya); and his brothers, James W. Singletary, Artis Gay, Felton Ferguson, James Ferguson and Charles Ferguson. He is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Leach Springs Missionary Baptist Church (821 Arabia Rd, Raeford, NC 28376). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at 10225 Fayetteville Rd, Raeford, NC 28376. A committal service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at 601 Scott Currie Rd, Raeford, NC 28376.
