He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Gibson, Jr. and Elizabeth Baker Seago; and his son Johnny Gibson. He is survived by: his daughter Beth Peedin (Jeff) of Smithfield, NC; his granddaughter Jillian Peedin; his brother Danny Gibson (Jennie) of Raeford, NC; his niece Kimberly Brock; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Grayson and Harper Brock; his nephew Will Gibson; and his great-niece Ava Gibson.
