We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2024, at the age of 74, Rebecca Bass Jones Laviner of Raeford, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnny Jones and Elsie Jones; her husbands, David O'Brian Bass and Jackie Wayne Laviner; her daughter Kelly Ann Bass; and her brothers, Richard Allen Jones and Johnny Victor Jones, Jr..

She is survived by : her sons, Jonathan O'Brian Bass of Easley, SC and David Brandon Bass (Malissa) of Marston, NC; her stepdaughter Crystal Laviner Hyatt (Darron) of Wagram, NC; her brother James Jones (Myra) of Conway, SC; and her grandchildren, Kellie Bass, Brennan Bass, Andrew Bass, Brandon Hyatt, Matthew Hyatt and Sierra Nelms. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Raeford (333 N Main St, Raeford, NC 28376). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the music department at the First Baptist Church of Raeford.
