He was predeceased by: his parents, Colon Myrick, Sr. and Marlee Cunningham Myrick; his wife Rebecca Myrick; and his sisters, Sue Anderson and Carole Kimsey.

He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Lands and Rae Cole (Brian); his grandchildren, Brian Cole, Jr. and Christian Cole; and his siblings, Lydia Whitehurst and Colon Myrick, Jr..
