With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Poindexter of Raeford, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Layne and Evelyn Layne; her husband Robert Poindexter; and her children, Kevin Poindexter and Pamela Turner.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Hansen; her grandchildren, Jeff Hansen, R. J. Turner and Nicholas Turner; and her great grandchildren, Kehlani Turner and Khamri Yates.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to St Jude Children's Hospital.
