She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Boyd Grant and Dorothy Elizabeth Baine Cotton; her children, Teresa Faye Bennett and Johnny Horace Bennett, Jr.; her stepmother Gene Grant; her grandson Michael Andrew Miller, Jr.; her niece Jessica Lauren Miller; and her sister Cornelia Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Watkins and Sheryl Beasley; her granddaughter Ashley Nuhaj; her niece Donna Jackson; her nephew Henry Beasley, Jr.; and her sister Wanda Locklear.
