He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Oxendine and Streetie Oxendine; and his daughter-in-law Cynthia L. Oxendine. He is survived by: his wife Evon Oxendine; his children, Dwight Oxendine (Cynthia L. Oxendine), Donna Dial (Morris) and Tonya Cummings (Steven); his grandchildren, Dwight Andrew Oxendine, Chelsey L. Goodman, Amber D. Oxendine, Moira Dial, Lucas Dial, Jordan Cummings, Jonathan Cummings and Jamison Cummings; his caregivers, Josephine Locklear, Hannah Young and Susie Goins; his son Anthony "Pete" Oxendine; and his sister Maggie O. Hunt. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
