With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy Alford (Raeford, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nancy left this world on October 16, 2024 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Nancy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nancy farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Durham (Wayne) and Chiquta Monroe (Reggie); her stepson Johnny McNair; and her siblings, Mable Beaufort, Esther Sanders, Daniel Washington and James A. Wells. She is also survived by great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pauline T Buie Chapel (543 Vass Rd, Raeford, NC 28376). A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oakridge Missionary Baptist Church (722 Quick Rd, Lumber Bridge, NC 28357). A committal service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Laurel Hill Church Cemetery (745 Purdie Rd, Lumber Bridge, NC 28357).
