He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess C. Meismer and Evelyn Knight Meismer; and his sister Carolyn Brown. He is survived by: his wife Nora L. Meismer of Raeford, NC; his sons, Terry Meismer (Becky) of Wilson, VA and Ronald Meismer (Katrina) of Rockwell, NC; and his stepdaughters, Donna Strother of Holden Beach, NC, Vicky Scarboro of Carthage, NC and Tammi McMillan of Raeford, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
