We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2024, at the age of 85, Mary McLaughlin (Raeford, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Mary find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She is survived by: her sons, Clayton Singletary, Rick Singletary (Valerie) and Tracy McLaughlin (Amber); and her siblings, Oral Singletary (Dahlia), Willie Earl Watkins and Sharon Singletary Dore (Lisle).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pauline T Buie Chapel (543 Vass Rd, Raeford, NC 28376). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. James United Church of God (303 St James St, Raeford, NC 28376). A committal service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the McLauchlin Chapel Cemetery (263 Doc Brown Rd, Raeford, NC 28376).
