She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Andrew Walden, II and Mary Elizabeth Fowler Lewis; her grandson Christian Mendoza; her mother-in-law Sarah "Doshia" Locklear; her sister Bobbie VonCannon; her husband James Edward Locklear; her children, Joshua Lee Locklear (Cody Hunt) of Raeford and Brandie Locklear Mendoza (Agustin) of Maxton; her siblings, Richard Andrew Walden, III (Wanda) of Gainesville, FL, Fredrick R. Walden (Susan) of Walkertown, Wayne Walden of High Point, Roger D. Walden of Laurinburg and Margaret W. Locklear of Laurinburg; and her grandchildren, James Mendoza (Austin), Abian L. Mendoza, Caden J. Locklear, Lidia I. Mendoza, Aiden C. Mendoza, Michael "Thor" Lambert and Aubree J. Locklear. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, God children and many loving friends.
The family requests memorial for donations to be given to Maxton First Assembly of God, 1033 Old Red Springs Road, Maxton, NC 28364.
