It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luvie Gillespie (Raeford, North Carolina), who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra Haynes; her granddaughter Racquel Haynes Richardson; and her siblings, Bobbie Doby, Lorene Haynes, Annie Mae McMillian, Delois Godwin, Arnell Farmer, Sheila Brown and Thomas Haynes.
