He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Walker Sandy; and his father Lloyd Allen Sandy. He is survived by: his sons, Ricky L. Sandy (Kathy) of Raeford and Isaac Allen Sandy of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his granddaughter Lindsay King (Russell) of Winnabow, NC; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Channing and Eisley; and his brother Eldon Sandy of Carthage, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Philippi Presbyterian Church.
