Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lena Vucannon leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Vuncannon and Evie Simpson Vuncannon; and her husband Lynwood Boyd Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Lynn Gibson, Worth Lewis Gibson (Esperanza), Candy Gibson Chavis (Scott) and James Michael Gibson (Mary). She is also survived by Nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
