He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ray, Sr. and Margaret Headen Ray. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla M. Ray; his children, Rasheka Ray, Shaneka Ray and Yolanda Kemp; and his sister Jennie Mae McNeill. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
