He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Melba; his children, Joseph (Wilma) and Virginia; his grandchildren, Joseph (Juliana), Jonathan (Jenny), Anthony, Victoria and Abigail; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Maeve, Madison and Penelope. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
