He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby McPherson and Minnie McPherson. He is survived by: his wife Katie McPherson of Fayetteville; his children, Sonya Simmons and Jovante McPherson; and his sisters, Minnie Bell, Linda Jackson and Charlotte Parker.
