It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Douglas Scarboro of Raeford, North Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Douglas McLeod and Dixie McLeod; and her husband Carroll Scarboro. She is survived by : her children, Debra Scarboro Fox (Randall) and Brian Douglas Scarboro (Andrea); her grandchildren, Clint, Spencer, Alexander and Emily; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah and Logan; and her sisters, Margaret McDonald and Catherine Nickalson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 5th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Raeford City Cemetery (975 US-401 BUS, Raeford, NC 28376).
