He was predeceased by: his parents, Malachi McLeod and Louella McLeod; and his sister Flossie McLeod. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn McLeod; his children, Jamaal Cook and Danielle A. Harris; his siblings, Debra McLeod, Richards A. McLeod and Walter R. McLeod; his aunts, Gloria Bethea Parsley, Frances Byers and Jeanette Brown; and his uncle Lacy McLeod. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers the family is asking all donations to be made to The National Kidney Foundation of North Carolina.
