We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2020, at the age of 89, James E. Douglas (Raeford, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest B. Douglas and Fleeta Stewart Douglas; his wife Johnsie Richardson Douglas; his daughter Barbara Douglas; and his granddaughter Jacqueline Burley.

He is survived by: his children, Carolyn D. Caddell of Raeford, NC., Allen K. Douglas (Debra) of Raeford and Richard S. Douglas of Carthage, NC.; and his sisters, JoAnne Maness of El Paso, TX and Joy Lee Hash of Sanford, NC.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to, Raeford First Baptist Church, 333 North Main Street.
