He was predeceased by: his wife Letrice Jackson Campbell; and his siblings, James Milton Campbell, Jr, Prudence Campbell Walters, Alberta Campbell Currie and Thetus Campbell Mercer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda C. Ritter (Blaine) of Carthage and Karen S. Campbell of Raeford; and his grandchildren, Daniel Ritter of Carthage and Justin Ritter of Carthage.
