It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Edwin Hoffmann of Raeford, North Carolina, born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl George Hoffmann Sr. and Grace Haddock Hoffmann; his wife Marilyn Lewis Hoffmann; his son Gilbert Steven Hoffmann (Steve); and his brother Karl George Hoffmann Jr. (Geraldine Black).
He is survived by: his daughter Pamela H. Henry (Terry) of Rudy, AR.; his daughter-in-law Jeanine Hoffmann of Louisville, KY.; his grandchildren, Matthew Hoffmann (Nicole), Eric Hoffmann, Colton Henry (Kimberlyn), Erin Hoffmann, Chandra Schumacher (Scott), Andrew Hoffmann and Cierra Henry; and his great grandchildren, Owen Hernandez, Phoenix Schumacher, Anthony Hoffmann, Kinsley Chandler and Maddox Henry.
