It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Felix Cooper (Raeford, North Carolina), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 8, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Cooper and Ollie McClesky Cooper; and his wife Virginia Hayes Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Mark H. Cooper (Donna) of Raeford, NC, Karen Hogan (Tommy) of Wilmington, NC and Kathy Pell of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Holly Barry (Brian), Josh Cooper, Katie Smythe (Matt), Kelly Horrall (Zach) and Hayes Hammond; and his great grandchildren, Emma, Sidney and Kaitlyn.
