He is survived by: his mother Bernice Bass Cherry; his wife Regina Potts Bass; his children, Jerone Crawford, Makadrian Bass Holsey and MaRyia Bass Maynor; his siblings, Mychelle McDonald, Cathryn Artis, Pauline Barnes, Portia Jenkins and Michael Bynum; his aunt Inez Moore; and his uncle Charles Bass.
