He was predeceased by: his mother Geneva Faye Byrd Lewis; and his brother Douglas Lewis. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Lewis (Maqueesha) of Salemburg, NC, Heather Flanary (Kris) of Hope Mills, NC and Megan Fleeger (Jarrod) of Mebane, NC; his grandchildren, Kopeland Flanary and Skye Senger; his sisters, Brenda Faye Lewis and Tammy Krumwiede (Scott) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Jacqueline, Wayne, Genie, Joseph, Abigail and Allison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for his grandson Kopeland's College Fund.
