It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene C Chalaire (Raeford, North Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Collins Chalaire Sr. and Madeline Rodriquez Chalaire; and his brother Collins Chalaire, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lee Payne Chalaire; his daughter Kelly Chalaire Parker (Michael) of McComb, MS; and his grandchildren, Charlotte and Jamie Parker.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be may to the First Baptist Church of Raeford.
