She is survived by: her children, Edith Covington, Marlon Hunter, Davon Hunter and Eric Hunter; and her siblings, Lila Mae Tudor and Hezekiah Watson Jr. "June". She is also survived by five grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Freedom Chapel AME Zion Church (270 New Freedom Church Rd, Raeford, NC 28376). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rockfish Memorial Park (4017 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, NC 28306).
