She was predeceased by: her parents, Governor Vance Baker and Bertie Brown Baker; and her siblings, Daniel E. Baker and Edith Baker Crowder. She is survived by: her sons, Van Gibson of Raeford and Danny Gibson (Jennie) of Raeford; her grandchildren, Beth Gibson Peedin (Jeff), Johnny Gibson, Kimberly Gibson Brock (Jason) and Will Gibson; and her great grandchildren, Jillian Peedin, Grayson Brock, Harper Brock and Ava Gibson.

Memorials may be made to the Raeford Presbyterian Church, Building fund, P.O. Box 1570, Raeford, NC.
