She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chavis and Mary Jacobs Chavis; and her granddaughters, Lisa Lowery Bryant and Latasha Gail Lowery. She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Lowery Jr. (Laura) of Kentucky, Lorene Chavez (Natividad) of Hamlet and Leslie Lowery; her sisters, Stella Locklear (Robert) of Burlington, Mary Ann Stevens (Willie) of Raeford and Essie Mae Stevens of Raeford; her grandchildren, Chris Lowery, Marc Chavez Jonathan Lowery (Desiree), Brandon Lowery (Suzy), Vannessa Lowery and Shelby Mince (Josh); her great grandchildren, Ananya, Nakoma, Shannon, Olivia, Sophia, Abram, Roman, Bella, Allison, Lilith, Elijah and Penelope; her great great grandchild Kevon William Jr.; her uncle Johnny Jacobs; and her aunts, Clarice Jacobs and Carrie Mae Rogers. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
