She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hales and Mattie Lunsford Hales; and her siblings, Curtis Hales, Lud Hales, George Hales, William Hales and Louise Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy Stewart (Douglas) of Raeford and Kathy Carnal of Raeford; and her brother Seavy Hales (Lib) of Raeford. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews.
