He is survived by: his children, Tonya R. Purdie of Fayetteville, NC and Eric L. McGougan (Lakisha) of Lumber Bridge, NC; his stepson Everett Lee Leach of Fayetteville, NC; and his sisters, Nettie and Sarah McGougan of Raeford, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
