He was predeceased by: his sister Alicia Cooper; his grandparents, Wilbert Oxendine, Rosa Bell Woods, Birce and Lillie Mae Cooper; and his brother-in-law Sherman Ray Godwin.
He is survived by: his children, Clyde Brandon Cooper Jr. and Victoria Cooper; his mother Shirley Oxendine Cooper; his sisters, Jawana Locklear (Lenney) of Red Springs, Lawana Freeman of Red Springs and Sherlina Godwin of Wagram; and his close friends, Chasity Heider and VJ. He is also survived by six nieces, seven nephews, four great nieces, eight great nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
