He is survived by: his mother Jackie Johnston Jackson (David); his wife Elaine Pomerleau McPherson; his son Christopher David McPherson (Carolann Fifield McPherson); his stepson William Francis English; his sister Heather McPherson Clouse (Michael); his half-brother Jake McPherson; his stepsisters, Amanda Lee (David) and Kimberly Holmes; and his nephew Dawson Clouse.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Crumpler Funeral Home of Raeford (131 Harris Ave, Raeford, NC 28376). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
